We suggest a dark roast. In general, the ratio of coffee to milk should be 2/3 cups of coffee to 1/3 cup of milk. Remember, with a latte, the milk should not overpower the coffee. If you are making a honey lavender latte or a lavender mocha latte, you should stir in the flavors at this step. You will add the flavor into the mug and stir the coffee with a spoon.
  • Warm and froth milk
Warm the milk and use a hand frother to create the perfect bubbles. If you do not have a frother, you can add the milk into a sealed jar leaving plenty of room at the top, and vigorously shake. If you have a blender, you can use a blender to froth your milk. These processes work with whole and non-dairy milk, such as oat milk.
  • Pour milk over top of coffee and syrup mixture
Once you have gotten the perfect bubbles, you can use a large spoon to hold back the froth and pour the warm milk into your coffee. Using the same spoon, you will add the froth. Finally, add 2tbs of the lavender syrup to the top.
